Design Concept

Asterisk ( little star )

The design of giftee’s new logo is anchored on the concept of “Asterisk* “ which means “a little star”. It encompasses the thought of wanting to create moments to make the day shine like a bright star, for the person who receives the gift, even though it might be just a cup of coffee.

We considered the applicability in a varied business scenarios and ended up with a design that emphasizes on balance. For the logo font type, we adopt the basic sans serif which has excellent visibility. The design of the symbol “Asterisk* “ placed diagonally upwards, has three meanings, a shining star in the night sky, a ribbon tied to a gift box, and a multiplier “x” that joins them together.
